Rpower to set up 200 MW wind power project in Vashpet in Sangli

Rpower is planning to set up a 200 MW wind power project in Vashpet in Sangli district of Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 15000 million. The company will install 80 wind turbine generators of 2.5 MW capacity based on technology of Fuhrlander of Germany. The wind farm is spread of over 400 acres. The project is likely to be commissioned by September 2012. The company also signed up a power purchase agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Regulatory Commission at a levelized tariff of Rs. 5.37 a unit

Saiprasad Group to set up 5 kw hybrid wind solar systems

Saiprasad Group is planning to set up a hybrid wind-solar system with a capacity of 5 kw at Bhosari near Pune in Maharashtra. The technology for the product will come from Cleanfield Energy Corp, Canada. The new unit in Bhosari will have a capacity to produce 100 units per month with local components. The product will have a 3.5 kw vertical axis wind turbine and a 1.6 kw solar system. It is most suitable for off-grid applications, farms and commercial complexes.

Roaring 40s WindFarm to setup 14.4 MW wind power project in villages Mathani, Ranjani, Baradari, Sonewadi, Sarolabaddi and Madadgaon in Khandke Taluk in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of 18 wind electricity generators of capacity 800 kw as phase III. The project had been commissioned in 2009

Parakh Agro Industries to setup 8.3 MW wind power project

Parakh Agro Industries to setup 8.3 MW wind power project in villages Brahmanvel, Chhadvel, Ranjangaon in Sakri taluka in Dhule district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up and operation of wind electricity generators of capacity 1.65 (supplied by Suzlon-2 nos), 1.25 (supplied by NEG Micon, 4 nos) to generate 8.3 MW of power and evacuate the same to western regional grid. The project had been commissioned in 2006
