NSL Wind Power Corp Ltd is planning to set up a wind power project in Chilarwadi in Man Tehsil in Satara district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of 75 MW in two phases with 25 MW in the first phase. It will deploy 50 wind turbine generators of 1.5 MW. Continuum Wind Energy Pte Ltd is planning to set up a 175 MW wind power project in Satara in Maharashtra. The company has awarded the contract to Vestas to supply 97 wind turbine generators of 1.8 MW of class III V100 Vestas turbines. The company is also setting up power evacuation infrastructure of 43 kms of 220 kv transmission line.

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) is planning to set up 7 MW wind power project with an investment of Rs. 480 million. The company has invited bids to select the developer and likely to award the contract by November 2013. The power project will help to reduce energy costs by 30%.
SJVN Ltd (formerly Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd) is to set up 47.6 MW wind power project in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The company has awarded the EPC contract to Gamesa to implement the project. It will install 56 units of G58 turbine which has a capacity of 850 kw and will maintain the same for 10 years. It may be noted, SJVN is a joint venture of Union Government and state government of Himachal Pradesh.
